Termly is a compliance platform that combines policy generators with a cookie consent banner and cookie scanner. Its privacy policy generator asks guided questions about your business, shows a live preview as you answer, and then lets you publish the finished policy to your website or app.

- Answer the guided questions about your business, using the tooltips and live preview.
- Review the finished policy.
- Click Publish and add the policy to your site as embedded HTML, or as a hosted link on Pro+.
Things to know
- Free plan limits: One basic policy, no edits and no regulation monitoring. Editing a policy after publishing needs a paid plan.
- Hosted versus embedded: Static HTML embeds are on every plan, but dynamic hosted policies that change without you updating your site are Pro+ and Agency features.
- Prices in dollars: Prices are shown with a $ sign and Termly also advertises promotional codes, so check the current price at checkout.
- Check the output: A generated policy reflects only the answers you give. Review it against how your business actually collects and uses data, and take legal advice if your situation is unusual.
