About Termageddon

Termageddon, LLC is a US website policy generator. Its website says it was founded by a licensed attorney who chairs the American Bar Association's ePrivacy Committee, and names Donata Stroink-Skillrud and Hans Skillrud as co-founders.

Each licence covers one website or application and includes generators for a privacy policy, terms and conditions, a disclaimer, an EULA and a cookie policy, plus a cookie consent solution. Termageddon says it monitors changes in privacy laws and when new laws take effect, and that automatic policy updates and email notifications are included with the licence.

Termageddon refers to EU and UK GDPR, Canadian and Australian privacy requirements and US state privacy laws. It says the service is available to businesses formed in the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, the EU, South Africa and Australia.

How to create a policy with Termageddon

  1. Buy a licence for your website, monthly or annually.
  2. Answer the questions about your business and your website.
  3. Copy the embed code for each policy.
  4. Paste the code into the body of the relevant page on your site.

Things to know

  • Paid only: There is no free plan for site owners. Termageddon does offer a complimentary set of policies to web design agencies for their own sites.
  • Per website pricing: Each website or app needs its own licence.
  • Embed rather than download: Policies are delivered as embed codes. The site does not describe downloadable file formats.
  • Check the output: Automatic updates follow changes in the law, not changes in your business. Revisit your answers when your data practices change and check the result against your own circumstances.
